An Ancient Lifestyle
An Ayurvedic lifestyle exemplifies a pursuit of balance, of seeking deep alignment with one's needs for health and happiness. An Ayurvedic lifestyle does not mean eating, acting, exercising, meditating or living perfectly -- it means deepening our self-awareness so that healthful, soul-fueling decisions become second nature.

AYURVEDIC WELLNESS COACHING
As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, my job is to create a space for you to awaken that sleeping knowledge within each of us that is the key for self-directed health. Together, we will explore any and all health concerns that you may have, and create a personalized plan of simple diet and lifestyle routines geared towards restoring your sense of balance, well-being, and "you-ness."
Our goal is to work together towards:
a deeply connected sense of self
improved digestion
increased vitality
relief from pain, stiffness + stagnation
+ What to expect from the process
at your initial visit, space and time are allotted for you to fill out your comprehensive health history form over a cup of tea, after which we will sit down together and discuss your habits, routines, goals for health and Ayurvedic insights that apply to your unique life.
in subsequent visits, we dive deeper into your needs for physical, mental + spiritual growth, helping to form a more complete, nuanced picture of your unique constitution and health requirements. With each visit, we highlight the areas of your life where change and support feel most vital, and we continue to assess the efficacy of the Ayurvedic lifestyle practices that are being explored.
for deep, truly constructive and lasting change to take place, time and patience are our greatest allies, and I remind my clients of that often. Know that the path of your self-discovery will be a collaborative one, where options are openly discussed and meant to work with your current lifestyle.
More About Ayurvedic Bodywork
AYURVEDIC MASSAGE
Abhyanga is more than just bodywork. This traditional Ayurvedic protocol rejuvenates, strengthens and restores balance to the mind and body. Warm oil is rhythmically and soothingly massaged all over the body, helping to gently dislodge impurities and deliver them to the digestive tract to be eliminated from the body. The Abhyanga technique is focused on grounding the nervous system, calming Vata dosha and can help with stress management, sleep disturbances, fatigue and more, leaving recipients with deep sense of pure contentment.
Vishesh, while still aimed at being a neurologically and somatically relaxing treatment, is more vigorous in nature and can feel akin to a deep tissue massage. The Vishesh technique is more focused on detoxification, balancing Kapha dosha and may be especially helpful for lethargy, depression, blockages due to stress, and lack of motivation.
MIND-BALANCING TREATMENT
Shirodhara. In this deeply relaxing treatment, a continuous stream of warm herbalized oil is poured on the forehead to bring balance to the nervous system. Designed to encourage the flow of prana (life force energy), Shirodhara brings a sense of coherence to one’s entire being. During this treatment, brainwaves slow and a state of ease is supported in the mind, buffering the burden of the stress we all carry. Perfect for anxiety, insomnia, overstimulation, and other manifestations of stress, Shirodhara is the ultimate antidote to our busy lifestyles. Balancing to all dosha, Shirodhara is one of the most powerful treatments to relieve vata in the mind. The deeply healing effects of Shirodhara are most profound when the treatment is done in a series of three or more.
STEAM THERAPY
Swedena. This special steam treatment dislodges toxins from deep within the tissues while keeping your head and core cool. Swedena relaxes the body, reduces tension, and opens the channels of circulation. Loosened impurities are eliminated through the sweat glands and gastrointestinal tract, thus purifying tissues and eliminating accumulated toxins from the body. This process also promotes the absorption of therapeutic oils deep into the bodily tissues and leaves you feeling bright and refreshed! A wonderful way to detox with heat, without over heating the whole system.
AYURVEDIC ACUPRESSURE
Marma therapy is the Ayurvedic system of acupressure, a form of energy healing that offers deep-seated neuromuscular relief. Marma therapy works on the subtle body to improve the flow of prana, or life force, throughout the body. In these beautiful sessions, you will enjoy the the full extent of marma therapy, addressing 50+ marma points throughout the duration of your session.
The benefits of marma therapy include but are not limited to the following: relief from stagnation + stiffness; regulation of the mind + emotions; improved respiratory, digestive, circulatory, nervous + lymphatic function; increased energy, vitality and resiliency; enhanced awareness + spiritual development.
SINUS TREATMENT
Nasya. This treatment can create significant relief when nasal congestion, allergies, and sinus pressure are impacting your daily life. Starting with a vigorous head and neck massage, followed by herbal steam to open up the nasal passages, this treatment ends with the application of clearing herbal remedies and soothing oils into the nose. Nasya offers the greatest results when done in a series of three or more.
60 min includes hand & foot massage, 90 min includes full body massage.
LYMPHATIC TREATMENT
Garshana is a light rhythmic, dry massage of the skin with raw silk gloves that increases warmth, enhances circulation and gently exfoliates the skin, preparing the body to receive warm oil treatment. A 15 minute add-on may be added to any bodywork appointment.
